Move over Seattle and your Pike Place Market, there could soon be some new competition. San Diego is on the verge of having its very own Public Market, to be set up on 92,000 square feet of property in Barrio Logan. Two of the women behind the project are Catt White and Dale Steele. Steele has been promoting development for the San Diego Public Market for more than a decade. White develops and manages farmers’ markets with her team at SD Weekly Markets. It’s been their dream to see a Public Market in San Diego.
